START YOUR OWN BUSINESS  BOOST MOBILE



Cellphone Store is still one of the booming business in any area, especially if you open one store for prepaid market. there are cities that prefer prepaid service which requires NO CREDIT CHECK, NO DEPOSIT BECAUCE OF BAD CREDIT, ALWAYS NOT ABLE TO USE PHONE FOR LONG TIME(lost or breaking the phone). That's where the Prepaid Market comes in. The popular prepaid carriers that are currently in US are Metro pcs and Boost Mobile.

  Metro Pcs recently bought out by Tmobile, of the four major carrier for post-paid service.
and Boost Mobile is owned by Sprint Pcs, which also owns Virgin Mobile Usa.  You will see Boost Mobile stores also carry Virgin Mobile in same location/store. all information is for California based, other state may be similar too.

  • LOCATION
          Location is most critical of any business. you need find a huge foot-traffic location, not too expensive rent. 600-800 sf should be perfect size for a cellphone store. try to find a location under $2000 per month. and also to be safe, you should ask Land lord a Break Away lease without penalty or small penalty or 3 months advance notice to terminate lease. the business may not be best location and you can't find out until 6 months later that you decide the location is good or not and may want to move to a different location. if you have 5 years lease, you are stuck there for 5 years. unless you already made a break-away option on the lease for in-case situation. Don't sign up lease with big management company properties, they only want long lease and some companies may even require you house or property as a guarantee/protection for them in case you escape from lease. You should find a location which is maintained by property owner, small property owners will often agree to your break-away agreement if he/she is desperate not to waste any collectable rent money, instead of leaving it empty and not make money, he/she want to lease you ASAP.

  Must find a location with lots of traffic, next to a supermarket, pizza shop, 99cent store, check cashing place, big restaurant, are all good.. if you are next to a Mcdonalds , there's 5000 people going in and out of the place everyday and chances are, few people will stop by your shop if your shop looks attractive or they are not happy with their current phone. once you have a UNHAPPY customer, with your little sales pitch could easily close the sales.
